Job Description

What you get to do in this role:

We’re looking for a highly motivated, collaborative and technically experienced Security & Compliance Analyst with the ability to understand cloud operational and security processes, effectively communicate ServiceNow’s controls, and support changes within the organization through effective testing. The successful candidate must be reliable, resourceful and have a “can-do” attitude.

You will be a key member of our team and play an important role in defining the Security and Compliance framework for a leading cloud company. In this role you will be required to demonstrate the ability to analyze difficult problems, think out-of-box and provide pragmatic solutions and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert on the U.S. Federal Compliance team.
  • Performs gap analyses on current state cloud environment with future compliance regulations.
  • Assists in the development of ServiceNow security documentation.
  • Participates in third-party audits for our US Federal environments, including coordinating subject matter expert interviews, gathering audit evidence, and facilitating audit sessions.
  • Stays current with the latest FedRAMP and DoD IL4/IL5 requirements.
  • Assists in the analysis and definition of security requirements.
  • Facilitates audit preparation activities for US Federal Significant Change Requests.
  • Identifies strategies to streamline external audit activities.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 5+ years working in the field of compliance or audit
  • Technical background with a strong understanding of cloud environments, networking, security authorization boundaries, and application layer controls as they relate to FedRAMP and DoD SRG requirements
  • Ability to understand the intent of compliance requirements to provide effective and meaningful analysis
  • Excellent report writing skills, ability to prepare compliance reports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior experience of working in the Security and Compliance group at a SaaS/Cloud company or audit experience preferred
