Job Description

We’re looking for an Associate Information Security GRC Analyst to join Procore’s Security Strategy & Operations team in the Office of the CSO. In this role, you’ll be the chief organizer and communicator for an extensive reference library of information relating to Procore’s security program.

As an Associate Information Security GRC Analyst, you’ll partner with our security strategy and technical engineers to re-assemble and categorize documentation about security policy, standards, risk, and vulnerabilities.  You will create templates and processes for new entries, promote their adoption, and you will assist the team in reporting the results of our policy, risk, and vulnerability management programs.

You will use your organizational skills to curate the reference library for ease of use by security and engineering teams who are seeking guidance for new endeavors or references to previous work. You will use your communication skills to educate engineering teams about security documentation, guide them in the use of our reference library, and promote adoption.

Associate Information Security GRC Analysts build and maintain relationships with the security and development teams to learn how to best serve their security guidance needs and develop self-serve methods in effectively using the security library.

This role is pivotal in supporting our security risk and policy teams’ efforts to make Procore more secure. If you are interested in learning cloud security & GRC practices, while teaching others and supporting Procore’s mission, please apply today to join the team.

This position reports into the Senior Manager of Security Risk & Policy and will be based remotely.  We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Create methods to streamline and standardize the documentation of security standards, risk, and vulnerability reporting
  • Find opportunities for automation and self-serve to deliver security guidance and information
  • Create a security reference library that is organized, simple to understand, and easy to access, thereby promoting its use and increasing security, and reducing risk at Procore
  • Communicate with stakeholders, delivering information about how to use security information and gathering feedback on how we can improve
  • Stay current with the security teams’ activities, looking for and making additions, changes, and enhancements to the security reference library in a continuous improvement cycle

What we’re looking for:

  • Work experience in technical documentation or related field and/or knowledge of Library/Information science
  • Strong organizational and visual information presentation skills
  • Ability to learn technical jargon quickly
  • Communication, influencing, and partnering skills
  • Comfort interacting with stakeholders at all levels of management, business, and software engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a professional environment
