Security DevOps Engineers (Telco / In house Cloud Services)

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of one of the worlds’ leading Telco companies, is looking for Security DevOps Engineers to join their Cloud Service Team in Greece

Workplace Location: Athens, Thessaloniki or Remote

What you will be doing:

As a Security DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the Cloud Services Team that focuses on building and scaling cloud based and network service platforms, delivering best network performance through continues optimization. As a Security DevOps Engineer you will participate in the development, operations and administration of cloud platforms with focus on security, through several cloud technologies, virtualization and containers, following the principles of Infrastructure as a Code

The position covers the development, operations and administration of cloud platforms oriented on open source with focus on security

More specially you will be working in security topics such as:

• Daily activities regarding the whole DevSecOps stack, improving existing architecture, introducing changes, testing and ensuring reliable operation of various systems for internal customer
• Identity and access management, network encryption, log management, incident and event monitoring, vulnerability assessment, web application firewall, certificate management
• Co-operating with other teams on continuous development, integration, operation and improvement of security controls and cloud ecosystem

Requirements

• University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or relevant
• Experience in cloud technologies, Docker, public or private clouds, e.g., Open stack, Kubernetes, AWS
• Experience or high interest in data management, message buses, processing of large data volumes (logs and metrics)
• Experience in CICD, automation and git
• Understanding of DevOps and GitOps principles
• Configuration automation – e.g., Ansible
• Ability to multitask in a busy and demanding environment
• Ability to handle confidential and highly sensitive information
• Excellent knowledge of English (verbal and written)

Any experience in the following will be highly appreciated

• Experience in GitLab, Apache Kafka, Python coding

• Any Golang coding or scripting experience
• Cloud based platform monitoring - Prometheus, Grafana
• Focus on cyber-security
• Any security certifications will be nice to have
