SciTec, Inc is a dynamic small business with the mission to deliver Advanced Sensor Data Exploitation technologies in support of National Security and Defense. SciTec has an immediate opportunity for an experienced DevSecOps engineer to manage integration, scanning and deployment of multiple applications into orchestrated frameworks. The DevSecOps engineer will work with development teams to orchestrate multiple deployments to development, test and operational environments.

Requirements

The following minimum qualifications are required for the position:

  • At least three years professional experience building and executing DevOps or DevSecOps solutions using Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) such as gitlab-ci and Jenkins
  • Strong experience designing and developing application container deployment solutions using docker, docker-compose, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Strong experience maintaining deployment environments for development, test and production
  • At least one year professional experience using Linux operating systems
  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physical sciences
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance

Candidates who have any of the following skills will be preferred:

  • Strong experience with software vulnerability scanning with static and dynamic code analysis
  • Strong experience with software docker or package artifact management using JFrog Artifactory, Nexus or similar
  • Experience with software vulnerability remediation
  • Development experience in python, C++ or JavaScript
  • Experience with Redhat Openshift version 4
  • Experience with version control using git
  • Systems and service administration in a linux environment, including the installation and maintenance of applications supporting CI/CD like gitlab, Jenkins, etc.

The salary range for this position is $91,000 to $152,000; however, SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
