Job Overview:

ABOUT TECHNOLOGY @ OPORTUN Artificial Intelligence and a digital platform are essential to our ability to fulfill Oportun’s financially inclusive mission. The Technology team @ Oportun is dedicated to this mission which we enable by creating, delivering, and maintaining elegant, intuitive, and performant systems to support the needs of our customers and business partners.   The Cyber Security Intelligence Sr Analyst is responsible for performing activities in support of our threat intelligence, monitoring and detection, analysis, and incident response programs.  

Responsibilities:

• Utilize available resources and tools to monitor, identify and respond to security threats to Oportun. Conduct investigations of escalated alerts/ events from the SOC.
• Activate incident response plan, as needed. Interact with end-users during investigations, to raise awareness and training opportunities.
• Continuously develop, manage, and monitor cyber security, brand and threat intelligence feeds.
• Maintain an understanding of the overall threat landscape (cyber security, geo-political, etc.).
• Perform ongoing analysis of cyber security, brand and threat intelligence information.
• Draft, edit, and disseminate threat intelligence information / briefs to stakeholders, executive leadership, and others.
• Regularly develop threat intelligence reports (tactical and strategic) based on analysis of intelligence information.
• Collaborate and build relationships across the organization and in industry groups to obtain and share cybersecurity threat data pertaining to the protection of the business.
• Use available resources to tune tools to improve monitoring and detection capabilities.
