Information System Security Engineer

Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group is looking for an Information System Security Engineer to support NAVSEA’s SLDCADA program. This is a 5 year project to support the Navy wide time and attendance and labor reporting system. Remote work is available depending on experience level. The person in this position will be responsible for assisting the Government in performance of the following functional duties:

• Support leadership with cyber security assessments, risk management, auditing, reporting, and data collection.
• Provide security planning, assessment, penetration testing, risk analysis, and risk management in compliance with NISCAP and the DoD RMF and NIST RMF processes.
• Conduct user access assessments in support of separation of duties for internal and external users.
• Install, configure, and maintain the local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and internet systems or a segment of a network system, to include data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.
• Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems.
• Create and manage user-facing guides, POA&Ms, SPPs, ATOs, and other relevant USG documentation.
• Perform system or network designs that encompass multiple enclaves, to include those with differing data protection/classification requirements.
• Conduct network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
• Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
• Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access.
• Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.

Work Schedule: Remote work is available depending on experience.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• CompTIA Security+ is required.
• Linux+ is required.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 2 or DoD 8140.01-compliant IAT III is required.
• At least 5 years of related work experience is required.
• Additional relevant technical certifications are highly desired.

Military Installation Access: This position resides on a military installation in Yorktown, VA.

• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Must be able to qualify for and obtain a base access pass in a timely manner.
• Must be able to obtain a favorable National Security Agency Check (NACI) including an FBI fingerprint check.
