IT & Security Engineer

Location: Reston VA (Onsite - Full Time). 

Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional all tiers of global technical support to employees and the company’s systems (on-prem and cloud)
  • Point of contact for Americas technical issues escalations (hardware, software, permissions, integrations, networking, etc…)
  • Maintain and enhance the company’s IdP (Okta) in collaboration with the team
  • Assist with new employees' on-boarding setup, orientation, and overall employees lifecycle process to support company’s scale
  • Coordinate assets management flow and procedures with the team (asset management, MDMs and others)
  • Assess vendor’s solutions, coordinate security review and oversee implementation
  • Create and improve technical documentation, training materials, how-to articles to streamline the support process
  • Identify, automate and document solutions to common issues
  • Collaborate in the implementation of security best-practice permissions model (role-based access)
  • Collaborate with the company’s teams or departments to understand, research, and resolve problems
  • Responsible for America's IT & Security equipment logistics
  • Work with vendors and suppliers of physical and virtual assets
  • Work as per IT & Security processes and KPI’s

Minimum Requirement: 

  • 4 years of experience with IT technical support for systems and employees
  • 2+ years experience with solving hardware, software, permissions and network issues
  • 2+ years experience with systems administration (Okta, Google Workspace, and Office 365, MDMs)
  • CCNA or equivalent level of experience of networking knowledge
  • Security-first state of mind
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation capabilities
  • Team player state of mind, caring about the impact of the infrastructure on its users
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Excellent and proven serviceability skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to troubleshoot issues and summarize
  • Ability to be patient with non-technical users and simplify processes and procedures
  • Very high motivation and willingness to continuously learn
  • High level of independence and time management skills

Salary Range: $85,000 -$115,000.00
