Job Description

Huawei is seeking to fill a position for the Information Security (IS) Specialist of Quality and Operations department. The IS Specialist will ensure that R&D environment is well protected and no Huawei proprietary information leaking. She/He will implement Huawei IS regulations, maintain some IT infrastructure, deploy cyber security systems and undertake routinely operation, help desk support and user training.

Responsibilities:

·        IS system implementation and maintenance
Responsible for IS system implementation and maintenance, including windows server system, web application system and routine.

·        Network implementation and maintenance
Responsible for Toronto office network implementation and maintenance, including WAN/LAN/Voice solution design, network equipment configurations and deployment, network system troubleshooting and cyber-security checking

·        Huawei IS regulations implementation
Provide R&D teams guideline and solutions complying to Huawei IS regulations, conduct IS incident investigation onsite

.         Help desk support and user training
Responsible for user desktop/laptop, scanner, printer support, helps resolving problematic events.
Responsible for desktop/laptop provision, prepare corporate standard OS/Software/Application and security settings before distribute to end users.

Qualifications

·        Bachelor degree or above degree.

·        Major in computer or information related technologies:
         1>. Proficient in TCP/IP technologies
         2>. Familiar with LAN technologies, knows building-level LAN architecture. Proficient in                 common LAN protocols and configurations, such as VLAN, STP etc. Familiar with                   Huawei switches is preferred
          3>. Skillful in laptop/desktop, OS, office software troubleshooting and maintenance.
