Director of Information Security

 What you'll be doing:

• Managing our security and internal IT teams 
• Partnering with our CPTO on building out our Application Security Program
• Leading our compliance efforts including SOC2 and HIPAA
• Building out a Risk Management process and evaluating risks across the business
• Help build out and improve our internal IT Security posture
• An industry security expert, you will lend your expertise in service of the Syncro partners and MSP community to drive awareness and education around threats and protective measures and frameworks. You will be the voice of Syncro in the MSP Security landscape, augmenting our position as a security-conscious MSP vendor and thought leader

What we're looking for:

• Experience building an application security team
• Experience creating and leading a vulnerability management program partnering with engineering to reduce the remediation timeline for disclosed vulnerabilities
• Experience navigating tech and data compliance efforts including but not limited to SOC2 and HIPAA
• Participation in creation and implementation of security features within products
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to increase Syncro’s thought leadership in the security space
• Ability to travel and speak to customers around security initiatives 
• You care -- which means sometimes putting yourself out there for a customer or a fellow colleague

You might also have experience with:

• Security architecture
• Threat intelligence
• Offensive security practices
