Job Description: 

XOR Security is currently seeking talented ISSO supporting our client at Quantico, VA. Our premier clients within the Department of Defense for the Defense Cyber Crimes Center DC3). The DC3 program provides comprehensive Forensic, Malware Analysis, and Reverse Engineering support across the Defense enterprise by providing deep analysis of potential threat activity targeting critical DoD assets.

Details: Information System Security Officer (ISSO):

This position will support the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) Security and Support Services Division.  This position is located in Quantico, VA and requires the selected candidate to report to the office at least two days a week. Telework is permitted but candidates must be flexible based on mission needs.

• The candidate will work support a team responsible to provide support for multiple controlled and classified systems through security authorization activities in compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF).

Required Qualifications:

• Active Top-Secret Clearance, In accordance with DoD 8570.01M, the candidate must meet the requirements of an IAT Level II as a condition of employment.
• Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
• Working knowledge and experience with completing and submitting accreditation or assessment and authorization packages.
• Experience with RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and NISPOM.
• Ability to audit and verify security controls as part of industry standard system hardening or in accordance with customer or government requirements.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts with senior management, technical personnel, and external entities including senior representatives of the US Government and teammates.
