Job Description

The Information Security Specialist is responsible for driving regional security compliance by ensuring that business units in EMEA & APAC operates in accordance with relevant Experian global policies, standards and guidelines. He/She will primary cover EMEA operation while providing backup to APAC. Тhe Specialist is also responsible for reporting on the performance of the information security services and on the compliance of Experian Business Units against security standards and controls. This role will require skills such a project coordination, excellent communication both spoken and written and data analysis competence to be successful. 1-2 years of Cybersecurity experience or foundational certification in the field is desired but not mandatory.

You're probably wondering what you'll be doing:

• Establishing and report metrics on the performance and effectiveness of information security controls on regional and country level;
• Continually engaging stakeholders to ensure metrics and dashboard are fit for purpose and are functional to stakeholders. 
• Ensuring timely reporting & delivery of compliance related metrics and dashboards;
• Continually improving the compliance reporting landscape;
• Ensuring leadership has clear visibility of the state of compliance of Experian’s InfoSec landscape;
• Encouraging a collaborative relationship with stakeholders;
• Proactively analysing available data and come to root cause of non-compliances and establish remediation guidance to counter the issues;
• Establishing the role as the ‘trusted advisor’ for compliance related matters.

Qualifications

We look for you to bring:

• Proven experience in roles with similar accountabilities to those above;
• Experience and understanding of the basic security elements;
• Experience of working with multiple stakeholders over vast geographic locations and manage escalations;
• Ability to work with remote / virtual teams and across diverse cultures;
• Skills in the development of dashboards, metrics and leadership material.
