Job Description

You will provide guidance and technical support to clients deploying our security integrations in 4G/5G Networks. You’ll act as the technical partner, providing strategic guidance around complex systems to secure a digital environment. Interacting directly with the client, you’ll partner closely with client personnel to guide and suggest integrations to better serve their success. Your thorough understanding of our product integrations contributes to the development of new principles and concepts – providing detailed analysis around what’s working, what’s not, and what could be better. 

 

  • Build custom security policies and application signatures for unique client environments in Mobile 4G/5G

  • Service enablement utilizing Cloud-based Containers and Kubernetes (tools, automation, build-pipeline, container security, deployment) 

  • Drive NFV management and network orchestration (MANO) utilization for 5G Network Services

  • Consult and guide customers on security standard best practices methodologies and act as trusted advisor for clients on behalf of Palo Alto Networks

  • Work proactively with our Technical Assistance Center to troubleshoot and diagnose cases during project implementations

  • Work with sales account teams to help formulate a technical strategy to address customer business needs

  • Provide feedback to account teams to allow them to clearly understand the customer business & technical requirements as a result of project implementations.

Qualifications

  • Experience with 3GPP based Mobile 3G, 4G and 5G Networks

  • Experience with Kubernetes and Container-based platforms 

  • Experience supporting Service Providers for 4G/5G radio hardware, xHaul and 4G/5G packet cores and its services

  • Experience working with Public and Private Cloud

  • Background supporting Microservices Applications and REST Web services

  • Previous experience working with Cybersecurity/SaaS delivering enterprise software  solutions highly desired

  • Understanding of Container Security in CNI based kubernetes network

  • Experience with IDS/IPS solutions and technologies

  • Experience with security solutions in large environments

  • Strong understanding of different security threats, internet protocols, and applications

  • Strong TCP/IP networking skills

  • Can effectively handle many different tasks at a time

  • Background in internetworking, LAN, and WAN technologies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confirmed ability to communicate to senior leaders and technical peers

  • Project leadership experience; ability to drive organizations and resources to complete required tasks in service of end goals

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer, the starting salary (includes on-target earnings = base + on target incentives for sales roles) is expected to be between $114,200/yr to $164,100/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
