Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Construction Document Security Specialist (or other similar name) shall provide document processing and document control functions to support a U.S. Government client construction and operations program. This position is embedded with Government client staff in a Northern Virginia office

Principle Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serves as a Top-Secret Control Officer, maintaining a system of accountability for classified materials in the program.  
  • Provides document management and project controls support, including the receipt, inventory, audit, tracking, storage, retrieval, distribution, and destruction of both classified and unclassified media.
  • Manages the processing and distribution of Program Access Requests and Visit Authorization Letters
  • Serves as the location Security Point of Contact
  • Provides construction document management support, including processing and distribution of construction RFIs, Submittals, Transmittals, RFPs, and similar construction documents.
  • Provides construction observation support to QA/QC site observers at locations in the Washington, DC metro area

Qualifications

  • BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Applicant must possess an active Top Secret clearance

Additional Information

  • Basic understanding of Construction administration processes and documentation
  • Experience working in a time-sensitive environment with direct client interface and high-level accountability.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office Applications
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, plan, problem solve, adapt and self-initiate tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
