We are currently looking for an Application Security Engineer to join our Security team in Wrocław!

Responsibilities

  • Advise on the secure design of our applications and services and participate in threat modelling
  • Validate, track, and prioritize security issues
  • Design and build internal security tools that help fix security problems
  • Participate in security incident response and help improving our SIEM tools
  • Provide subject matter expertise on cloud security, application-level security controls, and safe programming practices
  • Promote security knowledge across development teams and inspire our security champions

Requirements

  • Good understanding of WebSec, NetSec and AppSec
  • Social skills necessary to speak publicly, lead meetings, provide trainings
  • Experience of implementing and testing security controls in web applications
  • Experience of configuring and working with security automation tools
  • Good knowledge of at least one modern programming language (Go, Python, Ruby, …)
  • Ability to research and work independently on selected tasks, and to be enthusiastic and proactive
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
