The Risk and Compliance Services team (RCS) within SPR organization supports Amazon’s regulated payments compliance programs globally including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions, and consumer protection programs. This role will focus on seller experience protection and journey during registration and verification.
ABOUT THE ROLE: We are looking for a Program Manager to drive a challenging new roadmap to improve Seller experience and challenge status quo. You will collaborate with multiple teams both within and across the org the organization to arrive at the pertinent solution. Your ability to influence people will drive your success and so will your attention to detail. Sound understanding of compliance,Customer strategy & planning, Six Sigma green belt/black belt is a plus


Key job responsibilities
•You will leverage your understanding of risk and compliance space to drive large-scale efforts, you will translate high level requirements into straight-forward solutions, often inventing new ones.
•Understand business customer needs through direct/Indirect customer interactions and through benchmarking input
•Support in creating a strong business case for registration & verification. In process, address barriers through problem solving and coordination with stakeholders and internal partners
•Support in working with other product and program managers globally to identify and influence development of new products, features, and functionality
•Coordinate with Program, product managers, across ops, tech, product, and leadership teams to identify operational and seller requirements.
•Coordinate with Compliance officers & Legal pocs on clarifications, signoffs to ensure new produce meets regulatory & legal requirements
•Document detailed business requirements and work with tech/product partners for product development.
•Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders and management across our organization via flash, reviews, launches including identifying potential bottlenecks, overlapping work areas or other project risks
•Engage with both internal and external customers to gather feedback, onboard to new programs, and ensure the highest quality of support
•Create governance for AML run seller impacting long term solutions

Basic Qualifications


• 6+ years of experience in program or project management
• Strong knowledge of risk management methods and suspicious activity monitoring best practices.
• Experience overseeing & driving roadmap strategy and framework, influencing stakeholders
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• Experience defining requirements, facilitating progress and identifying blockers.
• Experience with improving customer experience, team efficiency and improving processes.
• Experience in working with different teams in gathering information, data to create strong business case for change
• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in AML, compliance or risk management
• Strong problem solving, highly analytical, attention to detail and solid organizational skills
• Experience working with remote teams
• Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems
• User focus – ability to keep the customers first at the heart of all technologies we build
• Prioritization – ability to construct a roadmap, get buy-in from a larger team on the same and direct a team towards the common roadmap in a structured fashion
• End to End delivery – from creating a BRD, making phasing decisions, analysing post launch metrics and continuous iteration, making trade-off decisions, etc.
• Data oriented approach – a keen eye for numbers and the ability to derive insights and product decisions-based numbers.
• Stakeholder management – ability to work effectively across both internal and external industry leaders; negotiate complex topics and resolve conflicts.
• Long term vision – Ability to construct a vision based on long term customer and business needs and strong oral/written communication skills to articulate the same.
• Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
