IO Global is searching for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join their Cyber & IT team. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you are expected to have meticulous attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure, and deliver on tight deadlines.

To ensure success, a cybersecurity engineer must display an excellent understanding of technology infrastructures using Firewalls, VPNs, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy, and Security Audits. Top candidates will be comfortable working with various technologies, security problems, and network troubleshooting.

Your mission

  • Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and updating security policies and procedures for ISO/IEC 27001 & 27002 and normal operations
  • Assisting creation, administration, and evaluation of Cybersecurity training
  • Participating in the change management process
  • Performing daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with the relevant departments in the organization
  • Performing policy and procedure compliance evaluations
  • Keeping records of problems and their resolution
  • Providing feedback on processes and making recommendations on areas to improve
  • Maintaining technical documentation and service catalogs on installation of software, configuration of hardware, and problem troubleshooting
  • Suggesting improvements in procedures.

Requirements

Your expertise

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other related fields
  • 4+ years of experience in the similar role
  • BCP/DR experience is a big plus (almost a must-have)
  • Policy writing experience is a big plus
  • CISSP is a must
  • CEH and/or PSP is desirable
  • Must enjoy the administrative/paperwork side of the house
  • Experience with Security Frameworks (COBIT, COSO, ITIL, etc) is a plus
  • Good document writing skills
  • Good people and communication skills
  • Must have great organizational skills to follow up with teams to ensure implementation
  • Must be able to work well under pressure – in a team and alone
  • Ability to adapt and adjust rapidly changing priorities while maintaining efficiency.
