IO Global is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst (Security Operations Centre) to join their Cyber and IT team. As a SOC Analyst, you have a good understanding of Information Security, Cyber Security, and Data Privacy, with hands-on experience operating as a key member of the cybersecurity team, focused on Security Operations and servicing. Your role will primarily consist of providing threat/vulnerability analysis and security logs, and you will provide Incident Response support when your analysis confirms a threat. It will be your responsibility to analyze and respond to undisclosed hardware and software vulnerabilities. You will be reporting to the Director of Cybersecurity and acting as the 'security advisors’ for our stakeholders, and coordinating with the rest of the cybersecurity team as required.

Your mission

  • Account and Access audits including Google, Slack, Jira, GitHub, AWS
  • Infrastructure security monitoring - (24x7 on call)
    • Access audits
    • OS and Service vulnerabilities assessment
    • CVE impact analysis on OS & Services
    • Vulnerability assessments
  • Architecture design
  • IDS monitoring and analysis
  • Incident response and breach analysis
  • Network traffic and log analysis
  • Insider threat and APT detection
  • Malware analysis and forensics
  • Record problems and their resolution
  • Provide feedback on processes and make recommendations on areas to improve
  • Maintain technical documentation and service catalogs on installation of software, configuration of hardware, and problem troubleshooting
  • Suggest improvements in procedures.

Requirements

Your expertise

  • As SOC Analyst, clearly communicate to and manage the expectations of organizational stakeholders
  • An appropriate Information Security / Cyber Security degree is preferable
  • Security industry certifications, such as CISSP, CCSK, CCSP, CEH, CHFI beneficial
  • Good organizational skills, self-motivated
  • Analytical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Good written and verbal communications skills
  • Must be able to work well under pressure – in a team and alone
  • Able to adapt and adjust rapidly changing priorities while maintaining efficiency.
