Want to really make a difference in a growing Information Security team?

We’re looking for an Information Security Officer. You’ll be responsible for the security governance, security culture and security assurance of our information and data assets across the global group.

You’ll be based out of either our Bristol or Southampton offices working in a flexible and hybrid way.

About Us

A career at Gresham provides a unique blend of agility, innovation, empowerment and warmth. We’re well established with global clients and an admired product, meaning you can feel secure and confident about your future. But we still retain the agility and intimacy of a small business, meaning you can influence change and see the impact of your ideas. We limit hierarchy and are big on collaboration, so you’ll be challenging and stretching yourself everyday, working with leading edge technologies that help improve integrity and accuracy in our sector. You’ll feel at home in our friendly, supportive, people-centric culture where we work towards common goals, not individual interests.

Gresham helps global businesses connect, reconcile and control their data, systems and processes. And in doing so, we deliver something that is vital to modern business. Data confidence. Our teams are responsible for building and delivering leading edge solutions, to our customers, the world’s top financial institutions.

A background and in interest in Financial Services would be a bonus.

Requirements

You’ll maintain our information security management system, deliver security culture and assurance activities, oversee any remediation, and generally promote the advancement of the group’s security practices and activities.

With the support of the Information Security Lead, you’ll be responsible for security governance and risk management across the group, helping individuals, teams or offices to achieve security governance objectives. You may be involved in maintaining security documentation or maintaining the information security management system. You will develop and maintain information security policies, procedures and guidelines which align with industry standards as well as collect and report metrics and KPIs.

As Information Security Officer, you play a key role in establishing and embedding a strong security culture throughout the group by promoting best practice and supporting the adoption of our information security management system.

You’ll lead our security assurance activities to give us confidence in our security practices, ensuring our information security management system stands up to scrutiny, and minimising risks for our customers and in our supply chain.

You’ll have a keen interest in security advances so you’ll be up to date with the latest cybersecurity technologies and standards. You’ll likely have a relevant information security certification as well as some previous experience in an information security role and you’ll have strong working knowledge of ISO27001 and a good technical awareness. This technical experience coupled with an organised, proactive and self-motivated approach will help you thrive in our dynamic and fast moving organisation.
