WWC Global is seeking a Subject Matter Expert in Cybersecurity to support a DHS customer.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Providing research, risk management, and cybersecurity analytic support services in an effort to reduce risk to critical infrastructure.
  • Advising on the development and application of vulnerability assessments and cybersecurity risk analysis.
  • Developing a process to collect and report meaningful feedback to inform future iterations or assessment tools and resources.
  • Developing and implementing processes to identify cybersecurity capability requirements, gaps, priorities, and solutions for capabilities.
  • Assisting with the development of a compliance verification plan and strategy, executing the approved verification review approach and subsequently refining and continuing the compliance verification program.
  • Developing a cybersecurity compliance certification strategy.
  • Providing quantitative, technical, and analytical expertise to support compliance verification and assist with identifying trends and making recommendations to improve compliance.
  • Participating in report planning, providing extensive data analysis on metrics, and assisting in the composition and editing of documents supporting compliance verification.

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.

Travel:

  • 0-20% / Occasional travel.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree.
  • Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability.
  • 10+ years experience working in a Federal cybersecurity environment, IT, or other related industry experience.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues to a non-technical audience
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
  • EO 14042, the vaccine mandate for federal contractors, is enjoined and not currently being enforced. Should enforcement resume, applicants must understand and agree to comply with the order and related guidance.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. WWC Global will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a similar program.
  • Current, active DHS Suitability.
  • CISSP, CISM, CAP, GIAC, GWAPT, Security+, CEH, or CPT Certification.
  • Strong understanding of DHS policies.
  • Previous experience working within DHS.
