As the Executive Director of Product Management, you will lead SonicWall’s flagship Network Security product lines. In this role, you will lead and manage a team of product managers, including directors and managers, ensuring alignment between an individual’s strengths and business needs. You will think about business outcomes, and develop, define, and oversee the product line strategy, roadmap to deliver the outcomes. You will also work very closely with other leaders across our broader team.

The person in this role will be responsible for business goals and objectives, and an advocate for the overall customer experience of the product line.

Your Responsibilities

• Responsible for the strategy and direction of Network Security product lines for on-prem, virtual and cloud deployments
• Lead, manage, and grow the product management team to deliver business outcomes
• Drives strategy in close partnership with Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to create, drive and deliver an innovative compelling product
• Promote the product line vision and plans necessary product initiatives for driving further with clarity and consensus
• Market and customer analysis, requirements development, business case, collateral, pricing, product strategy, and product positioning
• Customer engagement and relationship development for product evangelism, and requirements gathering
• Work collaboratively with marketing & sales to develop marketing, lead generation, and sales strategies
• Promote the product by advocating its value and benefits at executive briefings, marketing events, Customer forums, etc.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong desire to take ownership of the full product line
• Strong domain expertise in managing SMB or enterprise products
• 15-20 years in product management or equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrable track record of success and execution
• Willingness to travel to meet with customers to gather insight as well as provide recommendations to make the products successful globally
