The Cybersecurity Solutions Architect will establish solutions specifically for cybersecurity related capture. This position will ensure that proposals address NIST 800-53 and emerging standards, CMMC, cloud, multi-cloud and Defense standards to ensure networks maintain the appropriate levels of confidentiality, integrity and availability based on security regulations and directives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES·        Lead cybersecurity capture proposals and responses, developing, writing and presenting solutions to clients and FWG shareholders·        Provide pre-RFP technical support to include, but not limited to, establishing technical level of efforts, authoring technical RFI responses and collaboration with business development and capture managers on technical solution approaches prior to proposal release ·        Use in-depth technical knowledge to support cybersecurity client meetings and sales presentations ·        Attend customer meetings aimed at understanding customer’s business technical objectives·        Analyze federal government RFPs, RFQs, RFIs (Sources Sought) and other similar documents to understand client technical needs and match FWG’s technical capabilities against such needs·        Lead technical workshops, pre-proposal technical meetings and/or presentations aimed at gathering technical requirements, understanding business objectives, obtaining clarifications on RFPs, RFIs, etc. or presenting customer solutions·        Work with internal and external stakeholders independently or in collaboration to identify solution components·        Provide Assessment and Authorization support; engineer solutions to ensure they include sound network security and design; provide project management support services·        Review, analyze, and document the security requirements of applications, systems, and networks across their life cycles·        Review Security Test and Evaluation plans; develop or refine them as necessary·        Recommend technology upgrades and modifications based on evolving technologies, best practices, and strategic initiatives·        Evaluate Computer Network Defense (CND) tools; conduct functionality analyses and develop CND architectures; assist in the creation of Concept of Operations (CONOPs) and policies for the appropriate use of defensive tools·        Evaluate, assess, and ensure the compliance of ports and protocols utilized by IT infrastructures, systems, platforms, products, applications, and network security devices (e.g., router Access Control List (ACLs), firewall configuration, ports and protocol nodes, network cabling, etc.)·        In collaboration with the pricing team/finance department, build template labor/product cost sheets for the pricing team to calculate overall offer prices of proposed solution(s)·        Respond to client technical clarifications after proposal is submitted and support sales team during negotiations·        Conduct network audits, assess results, and provide recommended corrective actions·        Perform risk and vulnerability assessments for engineered networks and systems ·        Ensure engineering tasks and solutions comply with accreditation, certification and connection standards for designated networks and systems·        Provide dedicated, on-site support for Cybersecurity architecture engineering·        Engineer and analyze solutions for vulnerability and risk assessment to ensure solutions follow security standards and measures·        Other duties, as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assigned REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONSEducation:·        Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or other technical related discipline
Licenses & Certifications:·        Active security clearance and/or ability to obtain/maintain one·        CISSP, CCIE, Cloud or other Microsoft certifications are desired and are a plus
Experience:·        Required minimum of eight plus (8+) years of relevant professional experience in Information Technology and/or Systems Engineering supporting the federal government contracting·        Required minimum of eight plus (6+) years of hands-on experience in the development of large, complex, enterprise solutions and technical proposal responses·        Must have prior experience supporting business development and proposals as a Solutions Architect on large programs·        Solutions architecture background with one or more: NIST 800 controls, CMMC, ISO 20K and 27K leadership·        Knowledge of DoD (USAF, Army, Navy, ISA) and Civilian (DHS, HHS, Commerce) and intel-focused agencies are desirable ·        Knowledge of Shipley Capture lifecycle is desirable
Skills & Abilities:·        Expert technical writing skills·        Ability to develop white papers and explain complex cybersecurity details in layman’s terms·        Ability to quickly learn new applications and willingness to explore independently ·        Strong organizational and collaboration skills·        Excellent teamwork, visualization, and oral presentation skills·        Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks·        Must have the ability to interact with senior leaders within the organization·        Use of Microsoft Office software applications to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
