Our Cybersecurity architecture team works diligently to protect NielsenIQ’s data center and cloud components from cyber-attacks. We’re driving a global security strategy through technology leader partnership, continuously evolving our security systems designs, analyzing industry frameworks and standards to drive more meaningful security outcomes, and actively searching for ways to drive more cohesive security capability delivery across our global estate. 

As a Sr. Cybersecurity Architect, you’ll assess, plan and enact security measures to protect our organization from threats and attacks on its computer networks and systems. This role handles global Cybersecurity Architecture design to completion, including threat modeling, assessing and securing cloud native services, and helping users adhere to new regulations, policies, standards, and processes that improve NielsenIQ’s global security posture. 

Job Description

Responsibilities 

  • Drives partnerships with the Governance, Risk, and Compliance function to map security policies to detective and preventative controls while evolving standards and best practices documents based on the alignment of those policies. 
  • Creates valuable relationships with security teams and stakeholders to describe what good looks like, set successful expectations, and build security competency. 
  • Provides recommendations for security compliance to technical and project leadership based upon research and evaluation of legislation and industry regulations such as FEDRAMP, PCI, CSF, ISO, NIST, CIS, and cloud provider best practices. 
  • Maintains and evolves a global Threat Modeling program for cybersecurity.  
  • Continually develops knowledge of regulatory requirements, trends, best practices and solutions and informs stakeholders on the application of security practices. 
  • Creates and maintains reference architectures and reference implementation patterns for product and security technology solutions. 
  • Performs stakeholder activities in Enterprise Architecture and Security Architecture councils and is responsible for security reviews and approvals. 
  • Partners with the Enterprise Risk Management and Cyber Fraud functions, helping to educate stakeholders about risks while creating and maintaining a process that allows the business to effectively evaluate and manage risk from an architectural perspective.

Qualifications

 

  • A minimum of 7 years of cybersecurity architecture experience. 
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a role with full accountability for large-scale implementation in large matrixed organizations. 
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience designing and delivering global-scale security solutions utilizing a mixture of cloud and on-premises technologies across a broad array of security disciplines. 
  • Ability to operate in a constantly evolving environment to make tough decisions and enact change in the face of ambiguity. 
  • A product and service delivery approach with a deep understanding of customer needs and aligns design strategies and solutions to an overall cybersecurity roadmap. 
  • Demonstrates proven expertise and ability to influence peers/external business leaders on security matters at a global level and presents organizational security strategies to multiple audiences and knowledge levels. 
  • Innate curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and a drive for simplification and automation. 
  • Demonstrable experience with Power Automate, Power Virtual Assistant, and PowerShell. 
  • Active contribution and participation in industry programs and events. 
  • This position is remote and requires minimal travel.
