CSA+Capstone has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Systems Security Administrator supporting our SPLUNK environment. Systems Security Administrators must demonstrate technical knowledge of data systems and security procedures, as well as a familiarity with systems hardware and software.

Responsibilities

  • Management of a SIEM (Splunk, ArcSight, Etc)
  • Monitoring systems security and responding to security incidents
  • Participating in security systems testing
  • Ensuring integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data
  • Preventing and detecting intrusion
  • System administration and hardening of Linux Systems.
  • Security tool usage and maintenance: Nessus, Core Impact, ACAS, Splunk
  • Yara, Open IOC, or other host based signatures

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with log parsing
  • Experience with fields abstraction
  • Experience with data modeling using Splunk
  • Experience with CIM model
  • Experience with workflows and drilldown query
  • HTML or CSS Certification
  • Active Secret clearance
