Control Risks is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its rapidly growing Cyber Protect team. This is a unique opportunity to grow a fast-paced and distinctive advisory capability that requires a highly motivated and diligent client-facing individual to join a highly successful team.

The successful candidate will help drive and deliver Control Risks’ Cyber Protect engagements across the EMEA region. The candidate will need to demonstrate exceptional analysis, project management and business development skills. The candidate will also need to be a team-player who is passionate about delivering high quality cyber security advice to some of the world’s largest firms.

Keys tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and delivering cyber security maturity assessments
  • Conducting cyber due diligence assessments
  • Supporting and leading business development (identifying opportunities, writing scopes of work and proposals)

Requirements

You must have:

  • Demonstrable experience of cyber security risk management within an established consultancy.
  • An undergraduate degree in a field related to security, information security, intelligence, or computer science.
  • Experience in delivering several risk assessments that align to an industry standards (NIST CSF, 800-53 and ISO27001).
  • The ability to explain technical/security concepts in non-technical terms


You may have:

  • Be able to speak fluently in one of the following languages: French, German, or Spanish.
  • Have some understanding of the interaction between business departments (such as HR, Finance, Security, and Legal) and levels of governance within a commercial organisation.
  • A good knowledge of cyber threats and risks that clients in Europe, Africa and the Middle East currently face.
  • An excellent knowledge of IT and network infrastructure.
  • A deep understanding of Governance, standards, and compliance.
