Job Description

Specific Assignments:

The main responsibilities of an Information Security Intern - Service Delivery Management and Onboardings

  • Security Tools Onboarding – 80%
    • Partner with the (internal) customers to successfully configure and deploy one or more of the following tools or services:
      • Endpoint Protection
      • DNS protection
      • Secure web access
      • SIEM – Security Information and Event Management
    • General responsibilities for all the tools:
      • Guide the customer on how to best deploy the solution components, using standard operating procedures.
      • Support the customer to troubleshoot any technical issue that might appear during the onboarding of any of the tools, including OS (Linux/Windows) level, GPOs, policies etc.
      • Configure and prepare custom packages for each new customer, in order to facilitate the deployment of the tools.
      • Define and implement custom polices, tailored to the need of each customer.
      • Act as a SPOC (Single Point of Contact) and SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the customer for each of the services that is onboarded.
    • Engage external tools/service providers to troubleshoot complex issue
  •  Service delivery management activities – 20%
    • Run the Security Services process for the onboarding program for Zones and non-integrated ELEs, including but not limited to set deployment expectations, build project timeline, Security resources management, stream communication across different stakeholders, monitor and report progress, and propose roadblock’s removal strategies
    • Ensure the delivered services are fit for purpose, carrying out relevant reviews/propose modifications as necessary.
    • Cooperate with internal Security teams and other Security actors to further develop Security Operations.
    • Ensure that all Security documentation for Internal/External service consumers are available and updated.
    • Provide a clear and regular update to service consumers on action items, including proposed actions and dates to closure.

Other Assignments:

  • Build and maintain client relationships both internally and externally.
  • Support the Security Group & Security Delivery Senior Manager in day-to-day activities.

Qualifications

Minimum Operational experience in a Security oriented IT role (cybersecurity, IT Operations etc.)

Required

  • Solid experience in deploying at least one of the following tools or services: SIEM, Antivirus solutions, DNS, and web filtering/proxy
  • Good practical experience in debugging Linux/Windows based operating systems
  • Solid understanding of
    • security threats and attack vectors
    • log management
    • the workings of networking technologies and firewalls, proxies etc.
  • Ability to understand complex infrastructures

Appreciated

  • Experience in security Incident detection and management.
  • Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK / D3FEND framework.
  • Knowledge in Service Delivery Management or Project Management
  • ISO27000- series knowledge

  • Very good communication skills (concise writing and orally convincing).
  • Very good interpersonal relation skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to translate technical requirements to non-technical people.
  • Ability to work in a complex international environment.
  • Eager to learn and continuously develop personal and technical capabilities.

Education required:

  • M.Sc. or comparable education in Information Technology or Information Security.
  • Languages: fluent English.
