Palo Alto Networks has built a world-class product management organization and continues to look for top-notch product managers to collaborate with our talented engineers to tackle challenging security problems. As a Senior Product Manager for Cloud Network Security Automation,  you will play an instrumental role in conceptualizing and building innovative security solutions for the cloud. You will be responsible for innovating in the domain of shift-left security and driving the product roadmap of “firewall-as-code”.

Your Impact

• Stay abreast of the latest trends in public cloud and shift-left security
• Full ownership and responsibility to drive Palo Alto Networks Software Firewalls automation strategy, roadmap and requirements
• Influence cross-funtional teams both internal and external
• Explore and drive product integrations with technology partners to make it easy for customers to automate firewall deployment in public and private cloud
• Partner with engineering to deliver automation and orchestration solutions related to cloud network security
• Ensure customer adoption and that customers feel the products are easier to consume
• Collaborate with Sales, TAC, Finance, GTM, Marketing, and other organizations to grow business and delight customers
• Collaborate with other Palo Alto Networks product teams to bring integrated cloud network security solutions to market with a unique customer value proposition
• Improve customer experience across products with a multi-cloud consistent experience

Qualifications

Your Experience

• BS/MS in EE or Computer Science or a similar field - MBA is a plus or equivalent military experience required
• 3+ years of product management experience is preferred, ideally on Enterprise Networking, Security products, Automation, CI/CD, DevOps Tools.
• Have deep insights and experience into cloud security use cases, shift-left security trend, compliance - Plus if you have container security and application security knowledge
• Strong domain knowledge in automation (such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm Charts), CI/CD, SRE/DevOps, networking and/or cybersecurity
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure and GCP to be able to create lab setup and templates to programmatically create labs and test use case scenarios
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python
• Self-starter with excellent project organization skills, ability to drive complex projects with attention to detail, and hit deadlines 
• Domain experience in container technologies such as Kubernetes is a plus
• Industry certifications – AWS Architect, GCP or Azure Certifications - desired but not required
• Experience in driving high-velocity product releases using Agile methodology
• Experience in building products and custom solutions in a hyper-growth market with rapidly changing technology and a competitive landscape
