Job Description

The cloud security team in Magic Leap is in charge of securing Magic Leap’s cloud platform, including all customer-facing services. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting cybersecurity research looking for risks and vulnerabilities in technologies used within Magic Leap, as well as enhancing other team members’ research capabilities using automation and machine learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct independent research and development work on advanced security concepts and research automation tools.
  • Work hand-in-hand with top-of-the-line security experts within the team on implementing tools to support their work
  • Write maintainable, reusable code, leveraging test-driven principles to develop high-quality security tools.
  • Take the research to productization and deployment working with full-time engineers in the team.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with software development - Requirement. Proficiency in Go/Python - Advantage
  • Experience in security research - advantage
  • Experience with Machine learning - Advantage

 Education:

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. Student in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
