The Triskele Labs Engineering team are seeking a talented network/systems engineer/systems administrator to join our team.

The Security Engineer is responsible for technical implementations and assessments working primarily with the Security Operations Team. This role will carry-out technical security tasks aligned with the Security Operations Centre and Strategy Implementation while also maintaining internal Triskele Labs Systems including Microsoft365, Amazon Web Services, MyFiles and PhishAway. This is an extremely varied role across a wide spectrum of security operations.

You will also be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and management of these tools on an ongoing basis. This role is open to a candidate with strong systems and network background who is looking to get into security.

Functions of the role include:

  • Deploying tooling and systems on client sites both in person and remotely.
  • Troubleshooting deployments and configurations.
  • Deploying and supporting internal systems.
  • Developing SOC architecture diagrams
  • Conducting security architecture reviews.
  • Cloud Security Reviews.
  • Maintaining Triskele Labs AWS environment
  • Undertaking firewall configuration reviews.
  • Other tasks as required


You will receive ongoing support and training from some of the longest serving Triskele Labs team members to ensure you have a well versed and rounded knowledge of the business as a whole.

Requirements

It is imperative you live and breathe technology and stay on the cutting edge of what is happening. You will be the technical go to for a number of clients and required to provide knowledge and answers on the fly.

Ideally you will have:

  • Knowledge of technical security operations
  • Demonstrated hands on Active Directory knowledge including Group policies
  • Understanding of network architecture such as segmentation, firewalling and TCP/IP
  • Knowledge of cloud environments and architecture
  • Windows and Linux experience
  • Demonstrated experience with Open Source tools and Operating Systems.
  • Ability to think laterally and on the fly.
  • Demonstrated Network/Systems Engineer/Administration skills.
  • Cloud architecture and security knowledge.
