What We Do

Laika combines simple software with expert support to help SaaS companies manage security compliance, security audits, and enterprise procurement security diligence. Laika helps companies adopt stage-appropriate compliance practices that enterprises can trust and reduce the time and costs of security audits like SOC 2, ISO27001, PCI, NIST, HIPAA, etc. by 50% or more.

We are a rapidly expanding team based in New York. We were founded in May 2019 and have received investment from top investors including J.P. Morgan, PayPal Ventures, Canapi Ventures, and Bain Capital. We're growing customers and revenue dramatically and poised for continued break-out growth in 2022 and beyond.

About the Job

In this role, you will serve as a founding member of our InfoSec Assurance team and one of Laika’s top information security experts. This is a pivotal role that requires the highest level of responsibility. The InfoSec Assurance Senior Associate will be responsible for overseeing and executing SOC audits for emerging technology companies. In this role, you will be on the front lines of Laika’s efforts to revolutionize the information security assessment space. 

The Problems You’ll Solve 

• Perform testing for SOC 1 and SOC 2 audits
• Lead customer audit meetings and maintain customer relationships
• Review evidence and provide feedback to customers 
• Supervise supporting auditors and provide guidance for growth and development 
• Review work deliverables of supporting auditors 
• Maintain an in depth understanding of Laika’s software platform and products, and identify opportunities to improve the platform
• Assist with new product development by suggesting features as well as surfacing customer feedback 

About You

• At Least 3+ years of SOC and relevant IT audit experience 
• Understanding of advanced cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) 
• Comfort interacting with customers
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Possess a helpful and professional attitude with excellent verbal and written skills
• Strong sense of curiosity to solve problems
• Currently possess or is pursuingCPA, CISSP, CISA, or other equivalent technical certification (ex. AWS Solutions Architect, etc). 

Compensation & Benefits

• The compensation band for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 based on experience and skillset
