Cowbell Cyber is hiring a Risk Engineer to join the Risk Engineering team. 

What you will do:

  • Own customer experience in developing solutions and risk management protocols with CISOs and IT leads in integration with Cowbell’s platform.
  • Identifying hazards and solutions within a client's operations and as appropriate provide risk engineering services to meet clients needs / reduce their exposures or improve loss history.
  • Work with existing and prospective clients evaluating hazards and controls that lead to adequate risk selection, pricing and application of underwriting techniques to lead to profitable growth.
  • Work closely with data science and underwriting teams serving policyholders to implement closed-loop risk management strategies.
  • Help train data science machine learning models by aggregating and providing risk engineering frameworks and data in real time for different books of business.
  • Day to day activities with clients, evaluating correspondence and follow up on implementation of recommendations.  Close coordination with claims and underwriting to insure full visibility and exceeding service expectations.  

What Cowbell needs from you:

  • BA/BS Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in cyber security and or cyber security insurance.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of cyber security best practices as well as cyber insurance coverages and risks.
