Barbaricum seeks an Information Systems Security Manager to provide services to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) program. The ISSM will work as part of a team to operationalize OSINT for DHS. This activity will inform and implement national security initiatives through providing comprehensive technology-enabled OSINT-derived indications and warning and expert analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan and implement information security standards, procedures and guidelines for systems and applications that align with compliance requirements, program and business objectives
  • Protect information systems and data from threats and vulnerabilities
  • Achieve and maintain Authorization to Operate for unclassified information system
  • Drafting System Security Plans (SSP) and other Body of Evidence (BOE) documentation in support of an authorization package, such as boundary diagrams, operating procedures, etc.
  • Draft clear, concise, and grammatically correct documentation
  • Ensure adherence to all aspects of a rigorous Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance program
  • Work closely with Engineers and technical personnel to support the development and execution of a continuous monitoring program

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ Years of relevant experience with Performing vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support ATO certification and accreditation
  • Experience with the review and creation of mitigation reports from compliance and vulnerability scanning tools

Desired Qualifications

  • Security Clearance (Secret or TS/SCI)
  • Prior experience with maintaining and certifying systems in support of DHS
