Barbaricum seeks an experienced Network Exploitation Analyst to provide services to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) program. The Analyst will work as part of a team to operationalize OSINT for DHS. This activity will inform and implement national security initiatives through providing comprehensive technology-enabled OSINT-derived indications and warning and expert analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis of metadata through use of COTS platforms and analytical tradecraft
  • Conduct target analysis and research
  • Identify target communications within the global network
  • Performing global network analysis and mapping
  • Use knowledge of customer requirements to analyze and process intelligence information

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree with 3+ years analytical experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies  OR BA/BS with 47+ years of relevant experience
  • Advance working knowledge of social media applications and expert knowledge on all aspects of open-source research including methodologies and systems
  • Written and verbal capabilities or better in Spanish, Russian, or Mandarin
  • Must have advanced targeting skills and firsthand experience targeting networks, individuals within networks, and identifying vulnerabilities for exploitation.
  • Must understand the current data, tools, and techniques used for social network analysis and how to best produce actionable visualizations.
