Senior Information Security Analyst

Exiger Federal Solutions is seeking a driven Senior Information Security Analyst (SISA) to support a Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) contract with the Department of Homeland Security’s Cyber Security and Infrastructure Security Agency (DHS CISA)

The SISA will work closely with the BAH team to use data to assist in determining threat actors, motivations, and capabilities. This dynamic role will require the SISA to explore new data sources, create effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources to help the client understand supply chain risk management.  In this role, he or she will collaboratively work with other analysts in researching, monitoring and evaluating comprehensive supply chain risk by correlating threat and vulnerabilities. The candidate will perform searches for information and identify potential adverse information using Exiger’s artificial intelligence platform and other intelligence databases.  The successful candidate must have a cybersecurity background and be an energetic professional who will advocate for the company and be able to establish and maintain strong client and internal relationships.

This position is on-site at the customer location.

Key Responsibilities

• Author supply chain and critical infrastructure intelligence products for the DHS personnel and other national level entities.
• Construct all-source intelligence analysis on current and emerging threats using advanced research methods and analytical techniques.
• Utilize classified and unclassified intelligence publications and systems to prepare complex products including briefings, summaries, reports, studies, assessments, and estimates for CISA Director, NRMC personnel and DHS.
• Conduct all-source intelligence analysis on current and emerging cyber threats using advanced research methods and analytical techniques.
• In compliance with Executive Orders, conduct product and company vulnerability assessments focusing on overall risks and highlighting cyber vulnerabilities and foreign ownership, control and influence risk areas.
• Write and brief bulletins for the Dynamic Research and Monitoring Function (DRMF) and liaising between BAH-CISA and Exiger.   
• Schedule product trainings, requesting product user accounts, requesting and tracking profile reports, and addressing various product related questions.
• Assist other functional areas in the development of analytical products to include the Threat Analysis section and the Technical Team in Cybersecurity-related topics such as vulnerability assessments
• Review and edit multiple SOPs

Professional Experience Required

• Must be a US citizen
• Must possess an active TS and successfully complete DHS suitability
• 3+ years of cyber and analytics experience and a higher education degree
• Demonstrable interpersonal skills, ability to write and speak clearly to accurately brief findings
• Knowledge and understanding of the tradecraft, applications, tools, and methods to collect, analyze, and integrate complex information to assist in solving difficult analytical problems related to targeting and operations
• Ability to develop an understanding of clients’ missions and priorities
• Ability to develop an understanding of domains relevant to Exiger’s capabilities
• Work in the Mclean or Arlington, VA area
