SOLUTE, Inc., a Sigma Defense Systems Company, is seeking a Navy Veteran (former Officer/Chief Petty Officer) with Ballistic Missile Defense experience to fill the Ballistic Missile Defense Commander position as part of the ATGPAC Battle Lab team at Tactical Training Group Pacific (TTGP).

We need the rare skill set in Ballistic Missile Defense training configuration, operation, maintenance, and management that you have developed through your Naval Careers to assist ATG Battle Lab in executing their mission of providing tactical training to ships in the basic phase through Fleet Synthetic Training (FST). Be on the cutting edge of Live Virtual Training and make a difference to our Navy’s capability at the same time.

Join this exceptional team of Technical Managers, Subject Matter Experts, Equipment Technicians and Equipment Operators in the configuration and operation of the Fleet Battle Lab and Modeling & Simulation Control Centers; Synthetic Training Event Planning, Integration and Execution; BMD Systems and Training Support; Tactical Data Management Support and Executive Agent Support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or operational experience
  • Naval Warfare Specialist. Warfare experience in implementation of Task Group Concept as an Air Defense Warfare Commander (B/SUWC/BMD) or as a senior staff member for a Task Group/Force Commander, or as a Senior Facilitator with equivalent experience training warfare commanders or senior staff members.
  • Experience operating the following systems: Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF) and Multi-system Automated Remote Control Interface (MARCI) System.
  • Must have experience in naval warfare operations or conducting training for naval warfare or equivalent joint experience.
  • Must have scenario development/training experience and configuration and operation experience for one or more of the following systems: Modeling and Simulation, Joint Semi Automated Forces (JSAF), Multi-System Automated Remote Control Interface (MARCI), Battle Force Team Trainer (BFTT); Tactical Data Information Link generation systems supporting LOS Link 11(A) /16(J), Satellite-J, Link 16, Global Command and Control System-Maritime (GCCS-M); Tactical Voice/Data Communications.
  • Knowledge of:
  • The Surface Force Training and Readiness Manual (SFTRM)
  • Composite Warfare Commander construct
  • Command and Control, regarding surveillance, engagement and planning functions required for each of the various numbered fleets
  • Staff and Fleet operations and planning procedures
  • Fleet Synthetic Training architecture
  • Ballistic Missile Defense Planning and Operations
