Senior Security Engineer (E5) - Infrastructure Security

The Application and Infrastructure Security team provides security architecture consulting and strategic partnership services to help secure applications, infrastructure and data platforms that run the Netflix business and product. They aim to focus their efforts on scalable and high leverage investments that improve the overall Netflix security posture. 
We are looking for an infrastructure security engineer to join the team to work closely with our infrastructure and network engineering teams to help us evolve our network security strategy to meet dynamic business demands. You will partner closely with engineering teams and other security functions to help improve infrastructure security at Netflix. 

Desired background:

• You have experience with an engineering focused approach to infrastructure and network security.
• You have strong foundations in security architecture, threat modeling and network security fundamentals. 
• You demonstrate excellent judgment in prioritizing security efforts to mitigate the appropriate risks.  
• You have experience partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver widely impactful security initiatives. 
• You are a strong communicator and are able to translate security objectives to engineering asks. 
• You are comfortable working in a rapidly evolving environment and dealing with ambiguity.
• You have experience understanding and driving broad initiatives as well as dig into deep technical domains. 
• Familiarity with Zero Trust Network Architecture is a plus.
