The Role

This is a hands-on role, developing and maintaining the right security tools, processes and controls to provide high levels of security assurance across our Cloud Platforms.

You will work with software developers and cloud engineers across MATCHESFASHION to ensure that security is built in from the start and integrated into our CI/CD pipelines without restricting agility or innovation.

You will champion security throughout the engineering teams so that security tooling and controls are simple, scalable and highly effective for engineers and developers to use, ultimately providing our customers with the level of security that they expect from MATCHESFASHION.

All our services run within AWS, with the majority hosted on Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), and AWS Lambda, and a large amount of the time will be spent with these technologies.

Requirements

  • Experience with AWS governance and security tools, (e.g. Security Hub, AWS Config, WAF, IAM, GuardDuty etc)
  • Confident programmer with the ability to design & build custom scripts / systems.
  • Good understanding of automation and infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
  • Experience in addressing security in containers and serverless environments
  • Capable of improving and maturing incident response process on an ongoing basis
  • Good knowledge of security controls, frameworks & risk management
  • Be happy having deep technical conversations but equally at ease talking to non-technical senior leaders in our business about Cyber Security
