We are looking for someone with broad experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) to join our team. The Identity and Access Management Administrator, is responsible for how users within Arctic Wolf are given an identity and how access to internal tools and applications are assigned, maintained, and updated. The IAM analyst is responsible for managing user lifecycle in Okta and in various peripheral systems following compliance processes and maintaining a high standard of documentation. They will work with other members of the IT team to ensure timely resolution of access requests and will also interface with various departments to establish and document access profile standards.  

Position Overview and Objective

 

Working with the IT, Facilities, HR and Security Operations Teams, the Access Control Security Administrator will ensure the physical access, safety and security of employees, and approved individuals by implementing access control policies and protocols for Arctic Wolf. This role ensures all aspects of physical security control systems are properly configured and functioning, including assigning access based on corporate standards and best practices. Provides and obtains documentation, input, and recommendations as a liaison to other internal departments and participates in developing policy and procedure. The primary responsibility of the role is to prevent unauthorized access into Arctic Wolf Facilities, its various parts which include physical security systems, access control systems, cameras and any other measures related to physical security.

  RESPONSIBLITIES:
  • Maintain the functionality, health and architecture of the enterprise tool and associated configurations.
  • Assign access rights based on established protocol; configures schedules, holidays, time codes, alarm routing, system troubleshooting, vendor support interactions and other functions when required. Trains others as needed.
  • Identify and resolve issues with access control software by working with vendors and internal departments to update and troubleshoot software, and escalates issues as needed.
  • Provide detailed documentation for compliance purposes.
  • Provide architectural recommendations pertaining to the access management systems.
  • Work unsupervised with internal teams to resolve issues and complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Identify issues, and responds to outages, and equipment failures.
  • Build a plan of deliverables and manage multiple projects concurrently while keeping key stakeholders apprised of progress.
  • Maintain, manage, and escalate issues as necessary related to all hardware involved with access controls.
  • Process requests for card access and modifications; monitors, tracks, and evaluates card access activity system wide.
  • Configure reports and maintain accurate reports related to access controls.
  • Compiles reports for various departments on badge usage, cardholder reports, compliance activities and audits.
  • Establish ongoing vendor relationships while keeping up to date on new features and functionality provided through our access vendors, while periodically evaluating ongoing needs of the company related to security and access controls.
  • Assists in the development of emergency response protocols as it relates to access control

Key Skills

  • Provide subject matter expertise of the access control systems and processes that Arctic Wolf utilizes.
  • Work to prevent and remediate any vulnerabilities to enhance the organization's security posture.
  • Performs evaluations and makes recommendations on installation of access control devices, cameras, and other hardware and the implementation of corresponding policies and procedures.
  • Ability to configure and support API’s alongside various application integrations.
  • Analyze, architect, and provide insight to best-in-class practices involving security access.
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings, as necessary. Must be able to respond to emergencies on an on-call basis as needed as well as participate in a department rotational on-call schedule.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience working in Office 365 and/or cloud related systems.
  • Strong experience working with access control vendors and applications.

 

Travel Requirements

  • Typically 10% or less of business travel

Security Requirements:

  • Conducts duties and responsibilities in accordance with AWN’s Information Security policies, standards, processes and controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of AWN business information.
  • Background checks are required for this position
