Audio Visual/ Cyber Operations Specialist

Spectrum is seeking an Audio Visual (AV) / Cyber Operations Specialist to support the U. S. Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) and U. S. Air Force Special Operations School (USAFSOS) at Hurlburt Field, FL.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain Information Technology (IT), possess knowledge and experience in cyber operations, operate classified and unclassified multimedia, Video Teleconferencing (VTC) associated software, hardware, and presentation systems.
• Provide still and video documentation of events.
• Prepare, calibrate, and ensure functional operation of projectors, video cassette players/recorders, teleconferencing equipment, audio reel-to-reel and cassette decks, microphones, and video monitors.
• Assist briefers by monitoring presentations, recording, mixing/editing, and providing advice on proper briefing formats.
• Establish procedures to manage access to audiovisual equipment.
• Focal point for modifications, improvements, and integration of audiovisual equipment.
• Focal point for classified audiovisual operations equipment.
• Configure and manage classified and unclassified hard drives.
• Responsible for classroom computer system(s); includes mini-Local Area Network.
• Coordinate upgrades of software and equipment; comply with emissions security.
• System administrator for audiovisual computer equipment.
• Provide computer hardware and software configuration management for audiovisual computers.
• Provide formal and informal familiarization training to guest lecturers/briefers on equipment, procedures, and limitations; provide support for reformatting briefings.
• Provide initial and refresher training to instructors/speakers on methods for preparing briefings/instructional presentations, equipment familiarization, audiovisual capabilities, and presentation management procedures.
• Assist with VTC courses; includes market research for purchase sources, evaluation of equipment, and providing equipment selection advice.
• Manage VTC facilities; includes scheduling, administration, and providing training to all users at various locations.
• Develop and manage an annual equipment buy/replacement plan.
• Operate and maintain VTC equipment in support of USAFSOS courses, Off-Site Courses (OSCs), Off-Site Tutorials (OSTs), and other events; includes secure and non-secure operations of VTC and crypto equipment.
• Track usage of VTC system on a monthly basis.
• Function as alternate crypto custodian; responsible for daily operation of all crypto equipment and material.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

• Active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain.
• Possess working knowledge and experience in cyber operations.
• Experience in operating classified and unclassified multimedia, VTC associated software, hardware, and presentation systems.
• Knowledgeable regarding capture and storage devices.
• Must be skilled at access, use, and download of products from the worldwide web; includes configuring local computers for real time internet briefings.
• High level of expertise in video, multimedia, and personal computers.
• High level of familiarity with the Internet, basic telecommunication technologies, maintenance and alignment of audiovisual equipment, and video teleconferencing.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Windows, Word, and PowerPoint software.
• Must have, or working towards, one of the following Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certifications
  • o CCNA Security o CySA+ o GICSP o GSEC o Security+ CE o SSCP
