Software Development Manager - Threatstream (Remote US)

Anomali XDR allows organizations to detect and respond to threats more quickly and effectively by automatically collecting and correlating endpoint, network, cloud and external threat intelligence data. We are looking for a highly technical and talented backend engineer who is willing and able to work in a fast-paced, Agile development environment to create game changing security products. You will design and implement mission-critical pieces of our big data pipeline.
Job Description:
> Lead a talented team of experienced engineers in the US and South America providing guidance in technologies, product feature definitions and architecture.> Prioritize, plan, execute and deliver on the engineering projects from the annual and quarterly roadmap. > Utilize your in-depth systems applications and security knowledge in providing leadership and guidance to senior engineers/QA.> Grow and develop engineers in the team including performance and talent management.  
Responsibilities:
> Lead and manage Threat Stream engineering organization.> Able to fit in well within an informal startup environment and to provide hands-on management.> Ensure the timely completion of multiple complex, independent projects and provide technical direction in matrixed environments.> Coordinate the testing and integration activities working with cross functional teams.> Manage day to day development activities, being an example to the team.> Self starter, proactive and must be able to do multi-tasking.> Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience on estimating project effort and scope for services.> Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to meet scalability and growth targets, create prototypes, create and carry out phased development and deployment plans.
Qualifications:Required Skills/Experience:
> Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.> 5+ years of experience as an individual contributor and 3+ years of experience as an engineering manager in a fast-paced and dynamic engineering environment.> Strong customer communication and leadership skills.> Experience driving effective execution with agile processes> Proficient with Python (bonus points for Django) and/or Java.> Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and full-text search engines such as ElasticSearch.> Knowledge of Cloud / SaaS based infrastructure, using Amazon AWS, EKS, EC2, RDS,S3, etc.> Experience with enterprise security products, such as SIEMs, Proxies, Content-Aware Firewalls, IDS/IPS, host monitoring systems, etc. is a plus.> This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.  Candidates must be able to work freely in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
