About the team
&Open’s Engineering team is a multidisciplinary group of software engineers, UI designers and technical architects, with specialities in security and DevOps processes. Together, our task is to build our online platforms, which handle thousands of customer interactions a day, with sophisticated interactivity on the frontend, and robust processing and integrations on the backend. We use modern tooling to develop refined and reliable code.

About the role
We’re seeking an IT Analyst who will be part of the IT team that will help design and implement IT systems and processes across &Open. This role will report to the Head of Security & Cloud Services. 

What you’ll do

• Support. You will be part of the core IT team who will support daily business operations
• Design. Designing, analysing and implementing efficient IT systems and processes
• Innovate. You will work with your team to find and implement operational efficiencies across the company
• Collaborate. You’ll work closely with business functions to align tooling and business processes
• Improve. We aim for continuous improvement and you’ll be encouraged to bring that through in all aspects of your work
• Train. You will up-skill our workforce through proactive and reactive communications, training sessions, and documentation

What you’ll need

• 3+ years working in IT, with focus on internal systems and IT operations
• Experience supporting end users with IT related queries
• Knowledge of SaaS and cloud based systems administration and configuration
• MacOS operating system Administration experience
• Understanding of information security fundamentals
• Hands on experience working with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
• The ability to carry out security reporting and management of security related tasks
• A sense of curiosity to spot security weaknesses and operational inefficiencies and implement solutions to rectify these
• A love for providing advice, helping solve problems and carrying out technical training
• A keen interest in keeping abreast of technology trends and developments
• The ability to implement streamlined internal IT support processes
• To be an organised individual, ability to manage multiple work streams and manage tasks to completion
• Personable and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong documentation skills

Desirable skills

• Experience managing Google Workspace
• Previous maintenance of Mobile Device Management Solutions 
• Hands on experience working with single sign on and other basic security concepts
• Experience with SaaS systems and configuration management of these
• Experience with enterprise architecture 
• Experience setting up IT operations processes
• Experience with inventory management across laptops, mobile devices, and other IT equipment
