Job summary
Are you a motivated, hands-on technologist that has led development of automation solutions for 5G network functions with delivering the highest standards for security, risk, privacy and compliance? Have you helped Tier 1 Communication Service Providers secure, automate the deployment and life cycle management of products, services, and network functions on the cloud? Are you able to engage in executive conversations on how telecom operators can achieve greater security, agility, efficiency, and sustained competitive advantage by migrating and modernizing to the cloud?

The Customer Delivery Architect (CDA) falls within the Professional Services umbrella, and is principally oriented around a qualify-deliver-manage model. The CDA is responsible for collaborating with Professional Services leaders to dive deep into a high impact programs, pre-qualify and define particular set of outcomes, and drive them to execution. The CDA is also able to create, articulate, and position an innovative and compelling vision and value proposition for customers to deploy, migrate, and modernize 5G workloads on AWS cloud using an automation framework.

We are looking for a builder who will lead the effort to expand our 5G automation and security framework by building new security capabilities, and harvesting program assets. This 5G automation and security framework will enable professional services projects globally. We are looking for a person passionate about designing and developing code. Someone who will be able to “roll-up” their sleeves to to design and develop alongside their team.

The right candidate will also possess a strong communication skills and will have demonstrated experience leading medium to large software or hardware programs. You will bring relevant experience, superior judgement, great detail tracking and follow-through, and strong problem-solving and communications skills to anticipate bottlenecks/tradeoffs, provide escalation management and balance business needs against technical constraints.

The ideal candidate will also enjoys working on challenging, high impact problems. Successful candidates will be analytical, highly-organized, accustomed to working with technical teams across multiple geographic time zones, able to bridge the gap between business and tech, clear communicators, and interested in getting their "hands dirty" in the details of our business and technology.


An ideal candidate will be able to:
  • Lead and manage the development of automation and security frameworks used by 5G Network, Edge, and RAN cloud transformation programs.
  • Be the trusted advisor for customer executives and partners.
  • Guide customers and internal stakeholders to converge on the architecture, migration and modernization approach and formulate an effective roadmap to deploying 5G workloads on AWS.
  • Create detailed plans, estimate efforts, and define the required project team for large 5G transformation programs.
  • Lead and work with cross-functional teams in a complex global organization spanning multiple business units.

This is a customer facing role. You be required to travel to client locations to deliver professional services when needed

Basic Qualifications


  • 7+ years of consulting experience with security, compliance, and risk management, including a mix of hands-on technical architecture, compliance and oversight.
  • 5+ years experience building security documentation, and leading organizations through security compliance processes, accreditation, implement risk management programs for Industrials clients utilizing NIST, RMF and Zero Trust compliance frameworks.
  • Extensive knowledge of security standards & compliance, security risk assessment techniques, common controls, security operating, monitoring and response models, and hands-on expertise in the design and delivery of secure cloud-based solutions.
  • 5 or more years of experience working directly with customers to design and develop automation
  • 3 or more years deploying and orchestrating applications or network functions on the cloud
  • 3 or more years of experience leading development teams
  • Hands-on technical experience in on-premises, or off-premises cloud platforms
  • Experienced in micro-services, cloud programming languages (Python, Java Script, or JSON/YAML), and Development Kits.
  • Expertise in software development life cycle (SDLC), development tools, and agile methodologies
  • BS level technical degree required or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expert knowledge of information security principles, policy enforcement, operating systems, web application security
  • Experience with designing security postures for cloud-native applications, and managing the security of cloud-migrations.
  • Experience with secure networking design concepts, services such as DNS, HTTPS, and TLS, as well as securing software-defined systems.
  • Advanced degrees in engineering, computer science, business, or relevant fields of study.
  • Enterprise IT experience.
  • Experienced in Serverless, Container, and Service Based Architectures.
  • AWS certifications.
  • Agile certifications
  • Openness to international travel
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% annually
