Cyber Security Consultant

We’re seeking an experienced cybersecurity specialist who can proactively participate in product and service development in the field of cyber exercises, cyber ranges and competence building. Your task is to use your expertise and analytics skills to introduce cybersecurity best practices in-house, deliver ethical hacking and vulnerability assessment tasks along with participating in our larger scale cyber exercises and competence building activities. Our ideal candidate has an understanding of cybersecurity standards and certifications, hands-on ethical hacking and/or research background and enjoys sharing competence. As an experience ethical hacker, you will be required to research target system vulnerabilities, understand adversary tools and tactics, penetrate systems and identify any weaknesses. You may also be required to create penetration test reports and advise on security upgrades. You should have advanced knowledge of computer and internet security systems, high-level hacking skills, and the ability to create clear and concise reports.Responsibilities:Meeting with internal and external clients assessing security measures currently in placeResearching the target system, network structure, and possible penetration sitesDevelopment of cyber exercise technical challenges Participate in development of hands-on competence building technical scenariosConducting multiple penetration tests Identifying and recording security flaws and breaches Identifying areas of high-level securityCreating suggestions for security upgradesCompiling penetration test reports
Skills and Qualifications3-5 years experience in cybersecurity at a mid- to large-size organisationsStrong knowledge of IT, including hardware software and networksA meticulous eye for detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong critical thinking, problem-solving, logic, and forensics skillsProven work experience as a certified ethical hackerAdvanced knowledge of networking systems and security software In-depth knowledge of parameter manipulation, session hijacking, and cross-site scriptingTechnical knowledge of routers, firewalls, and server systemsGood troubleshooting skillsAbility to see big-picture system flawsAbility to work successfully in both individual and team settings
