Job Purpose: Security Operations Engineer reporting to CISO to help develop technical information security control environment. The role will be leading the efforts of InfoSec program compliance and controls. Security Operations Engineer must lead in Google, AWS, Azure and hybrid cloud architecture design and implementation. Security Operations Engineer will be responsible for high visibility projects, and daily security operations functions. The Security Operations Engineer will collaborate with internal and external customers to address security and compliance challenges, and implementing and supporting solutions on Google, AWS, Azure, and hybrid implementations.

What You Will Do:

• Significant technical expertise in Cloud Computing technologies, scripting languages, integrating 3rd party monitoring tools, encryption tools, and best practices, and forensics
• Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions such as WAF, IDS/IPS, Anti-DDOS, and SIEM
• Familiarity with compliance & security standards
• Documented processes and architecture for existing and future works and environments in AWS and Azure
• Exposed to latest tools used in DevOps for both frontend and backend development
• Terraform for Google, AWS, Azure, and hybrid implementations
• HashiCorp Packer and Ansible for building machine images
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools including Git, GitLab, Jenkins, TeamCity, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline etc.
• Advanced Python for Ansible modules and other scripting needs
• Advanced Redis implementations
• Automated Docker deployments and Container Service
• Vulnerability and Patch MGT in hybrid / Cloud

Requirements

• 7 + years’ experience in NIST/ISO/GDPR IT security, compliance, and risk management, including privacy, controls, etc.

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; Computer Science or Math background preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to lead effectively across organizations Hands-on technical expertise in Security Architecture, automation, integration, and deployment (Dev/Sec/Ops)
• Hands on experience building enterprise security strategy for cloud adoption or driving the program’s evolution to meet new requirements
• Direct experience with anti-virus/malware software, intrusion detection, firewalls, and content filtering
• Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods based on NIST

• Experience designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures with Cloud Agnostic principles
• Knowledge of Incident response procedures POAM execution daily security oversight from general tools similar to GRC and SIEM
• Experience planning, researching, and developing security, standards and procedures based on NIST/ISO and GDPR
