We have grown rapidly in the past 12 months and are looking for a Junior Cyber Solution Consultant to join the team.

This is a great opportunity to join our dynamic team in a supporting capacity, the role will involve on-the-job training with our Cyber Solutions Consultant, learning how to support commercial and account management staff with technical aspects of the sales process.

With a consultative approach, you will communicate through all levels of clients’ organisation and internally at Dionach, displaying a strong technical knowledge of Dionach’s services.

We provide comprehensive service and technical training, which is supplemented with ongoing mentorship. Once you join, our on-boarding training will prepare you to understand our technical services, consultancy, and pre-engagement processes so you can thrive in this job and field. Your busy and dynamic work environment will provide new technical challenges and learning opportunities daily.

This is a hybrid opportunity, combining work from home and from the office (once or twice a week). This environment will help you build close relationship with your colleagues while fostering an autonomous and communicative working environment.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Define technical scope of works and work effort required for all services.
  • Take part in pre-engagement conference calls where clarification of the technical scope is required.
  • Deliver technical guidance to the commercial team regarding technical services provided.
  • Assess, explain, and manage potential risks presented in technical engagements.
  • Provide communication link between technical and commercial team.
  • Facilitate technical knowledge transfer to other internal teams.
  • Assist in the delivery planning process.
  • Take part in internal projects and development of new services.


Occasionally you could also be part in:

  • Creating and delivering presentations to existing and potential clients.
  • Attending onsite client pre-engagement meetings to discuss technical requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A relevant university degree in cyber security, computer science, information technology or similar field.
  • Strong knowledge in cyber security concepts and wider IT concepts.
  • Passion for cyber security.
  • Ability to understand complex technical projects.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-starter attitude: proactive and resourceful with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good analytical and critical thinking mindset.
  • Valid right to work in the UK.

Experiences and skills that would also be beneficial:

  • Driving licence.
  • Previous experience within a comparable industry (internship, apprenticeship, summer job, volunteering, etc.).

Job Types: Full-time, permanent

Salary: £23,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
