Cyber resilience ConsultantConsultant, Associate Manager or Manager (dependent on experience)Location: UK Wide + remote working (optional) Accenture UK Security Defence Practice Accenture UK’s Security Defence Advisory practice is looking for a Cyber Resilience consultant to help our clients to become cyber resilient businesses. The successful candidate will help enable businesses to define risk aware, proportionate cyber resilient solutions to protect their critical business activities and maintain competitive advantage in the face of cyber compromise events. We are seeking flexible consultants who are comfortable dealing with all resilience elements, ranging from understanding business activities, third parties and people, to cyber security and the vital IT functions that underpin modern business operations. This is an area of strategic growth within Accenture UK and there will be the opportunity to further develop and shape Accenture’s Cyber Operational Resilience team and contribute to thought leadership and generate assets to strengthen the team’s capability. Our approach has a foundation in the fundamentals of managing risk: Our view is that cyber resilience can only be sought through an analysis of end to end operations and that businesses need an approach that is broader than the traditional disciplines of business continuity management. Our method is to assess cyber resilience in critical areas of an organisation to help ensure that recovery planning is directed towards the areas of most value for the business.  As a Cyber Resilience Consultant, you will: ·        Deliver our view of what makes a business cyber resilient.·        Manage stakeholder engagements, and will be managing interaction across both business and IT. ·        Define new analytical techniques and approaches to help develop the team; ·        Solve challenging problems (crisis management and IT Disaster Recover);·        Manager Supply chain and operational resilience·        Explore and identify new and innovative opportunities;  We are looking for experience in the following skills: ·        Familiarity with Financial Services Regulation and a financial services background would be beneficial due to the relative maturity of this sector with regard to Cyber resilience - but resilience principles apply across sectors and the candidate will be expected to work across sectors. Knowledge of the operations of the Information Technology department and the importance it plays to successful business operations. ·        Knowledge of where IT can make a business vulnerable is a critical skill set. ·        Familiarity with IT service models such as COBIT and ITIL would be beneficial. ·        Experience of relevant international standards for resilience, business continuity, risk management, information security. ·        Certification to relevant industry bodies such as; BCI, DRI, CISSP, IRM would be desirable.·        Practical experience (typically three years +) in most of the following areas is essential – however candidates with some ‘gaps’ will be considered: cyber security, operational resilience, IT Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, crisis management, IT or Operational risk management, supply chain.·        Knowledge of Operating Technology (would be a distinct advantage). ·        We are looking for consultants with the multi-disciplinary outlook; Ø  An ambitious consultant who has a passion for designing resilient and robust recovery capabilities with our clients Ø  Someone self-motivated with an unwavering sense of pride in their work and a clear record of success  What’s in it for you At Accenture in addition to a competitive basic salary, you will also have an extensive benefits package which includes vacation leave, access to app based fitness classes and discounts on range of gyms, private medical insurance and three days leave per year for charitable work of your choice! Flexibility and mobility are required to deliver this role to deliver the first-class services we are known for. About Accenture Accenture is a global professional services company with leading capabilities in digital, cloud and security.
