Are you passionate about cybersecurity, finding vulnerabilities and expanding your knowledge? Our Cloud Security Team is adding Interns to dive into the growing field of cyber security.

Responsibilities 

• Working closely with the security operations manager and team and completing all allocated tasks.
• Assisting in automating remediation of findings in our cloud security program
• Helping build a database by mapping OWASP ASVS to MITRE CWEs and CVEs
• Keeping a log of everything learned and delivering a short, end of summer report on overall experience at VerSprite

Requirements

• A/B.S or equivalent work experience.
• Energetic, upbeat and a tenacious team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Some experience in backend programming (preferable Python but other languages are accepted)
• Some experience in frontend programming (HTML, Javascript, CSS)
• Some experience with or interest at least one cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Interest in cybersecurity and security operations
