The Demand & Delivery Director is responsible for the overall client lifecycle management from sales through delivery.  Optiv is seeking an accomplished cybersecurity professional with a deep understanding of Microsoft cybersecurity across multiple practice areas, who has demonstrated success in leading and securing business with new and existing clients.  The Demand & Delivery Director combines domain knowledge with delivery and sales skills and applies practical information security experience to address the strategic needs of the client.  The Director will engage senior members of the client’s cybersecurity leadership team to provide guidance and expertise while providing project oversite to ensure all aspects of the delivery are executed.   

How you'll make an impact:

  • Contribute to the growth of the Microsoft CP&I Services. 
  • Lead the delivery of services to assigned client(s) in a cost-effective and efficient manner  
  • Achieve financial targets for assigned projects
  • Share appropriate knowledge and expertise with colleagues and clients
  • Mentorship of Demand & Delivery managers, senior managers
  • Responsible for overall client life cycle management from sales to delivery for assigned client(s)
  • Drive demand generation across the full portfolio including sales enablement support 
  • Lead proposal & SOW creation for projects within assigned portfolio
  • Identify cross-sell & up-sell opportunities across the Services portfolio  
  • Partner with clients to solution & communicate the proper solution blueprint on specific custom deals  
  • Provide guidance and direction to project team members and associated leadership resources
  • Oversee the proposal & SOW creation for proposed engagements
  • Work with the Practice leaders to ensure proper resources are lined up against the delivery proposal  
  • Achieve expert-level knowledge in multiple Practice solution areas and be able to effectively translate client needs into actionable proposals and contracts for Optiv’s strategic offerings in a timely fashion
  • Identify and understand client security concerns and how they correlate to Optiv’s strategic solutions

Qualifications for success:

  • Bachelor or higher degree or its equivalent in certifications or work experience - with a preference in STEM, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or other related discipline 
  • 10+ years of related work experience in cybersecurity/technology environment 
  • 10+ years of related work experience in developing, implementing, and architecting cybersecurity projects
  • Experience in managing and prioritizing the proposal process to create business proposals and contracts
  • Experience driving large and complex initiatives from framing the problem, conducting research / analysis to building the business and operational plans through to driving execution to success 
  •  Previous management experience with foundational knowledge of running an account P&L
  • Proven experience in pre-sales and post-sales roles
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively with vendors, prospects, clients, account managers and management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, written and verbal, to work with clients at various levels across business and technical discussions
  • Integrated thinker with ability to apply intuition, experience, and judgement to the available data
  • Ability to participate in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks or projects with limited supervision
  • Ability to work under demanding circumstances and accomplish objectives
  • One or more of the following certifications required: CISSP, CGEIT, CRISC, CISA, CISM
