SIXGEN would like to add an ambitious, dedicated, and self-motivated Certified Network Defense Architect to our team.


Job Location: Hanover, Maryland


Responsibilities:

Reviews current systems security measures, recommends and implements enhancements.

Designs, builds and tests security systems within a network.

Responds to cyber events when they occur and is able to defend against potential attacks.

Uses cyber defense tools for continuous monitoring and analysis of network activity.

Identifiies and analyzes anomalies in network traffic to detect potential threats.

Requirements

Ability to identify areas of weakness within a secured network.

Experienced as a Network or System administrator.

Experienced in intrusion detection systems and firewalls.

Experienced in all data transport; wired and wireless networks, hardware and software.

Associates degree (or higher) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security. Military training in networking and cyber related topics may be equivalent.

Military training such as Cyber Defense Operations, Joint Cyber Analysis Course and/or Network Warfare Bridge Course is accepted.


Certifications Needed: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CyberSec First Responder (CFR), Cybersecurity Analyst+ (CySA+), Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Computer Network Defense Service Provider (CNDSP).


Clearance Required:

Active TS Clearance with CI Poly
