MTS: Sr. Security Development Engineer

About This Role:

Our technology is full-stack and includes advanced algorithms combined with state-of-the-art infrastructure.

As part of our Product Security team, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop highly scalable Security software products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and deliver next-generation Security products 
• Architect, design, develop and operationalize  high performance, scalable, reliable, and resilient services
• Activities in brief but not limited to Vulnerability Management, OS Security, RED team activities, Threat modeling, Security Audits, Security Architecture review, etc. 
• Security tooling, SDLC, Testing, and automation of various components from a Security perspective.
• Areas of work include, but are not limited to KMS, Encryption, Crypto, Zero trust, PKI,  Air Gap, etc.
• Work on Cloud Security with various teams that include Cloud development and Cloud ops. 
• Product development by taking part in coding/unit testing of components of product security.
• Coordinate features and deliverables across multiple teams to achieve project goals
• Collaborate with cloud operations to establish KPI for different services and own end to end delivery and lifecycle management
• Lead initiatives and projects. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members.

What we are looking for:

• BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science 
• 4 years in software development, with data structures/algorithms.
• 3+ years of experience with Security Experience. Must have worked in at least one of the following security areas: IAM, Security Monitoring, Security Tool, Analysis, Audits, Threat modeling, API security, Network Security, Air Gap, MFA, Firewall, Attack prevention/detection, Vulnerability detections, Security Protocols (SSH, kerberos etc),  Cloud Security, etc. 
• 3+ years in complex, a matrixed organization involving cross-functional teams.
• Participation in the Security Forum and update knowledge of security trends and vulnerabilities is plus.
• Validation or automation of security or familiarity with security tools is a must.
• Hands-on coding skills in at least one of the following languages: C++, Golang, python is a plus
• Must have Linux familiarity and working knowledge of Linux internal workings. 
• Distributed systems design and development is plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge in Storage, File systems, or Data Protection is a plus
• Motivated to solve complex problems and challenges.
