SIXGEN would like to add an ambitious, dedicated, and self-motivated Cybersecurity Threat Advisor to our team.

Requirements

The Cybersecurity Threat Advisor will be responsible for combining cyber threat intelligence into actionable protection recommendations and event scenarios. This position is also responsible for performing all-source cyber information gathering and dissemination of cyber threat intelligence analysis and fusion, and directly interacting and collaborating.


The Cybersecurity Threat Advisor will support in the continued development and optimization of a comprehensive strategic awareness cybersecurity campaign. Demonstrated experience reading and interpreting malware analysis reports is required.


Strong oral and written communications skills (e.g., technical writing, user guide development, requirements analysis) and ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical audiences is necessary. Additionally, this position will develop and maintain outreach campaigns to help further embed security into the agency's culture.


This work may also entail occasional support of headquarters related activities, such as assisting with proposal writing.


Highly Desired:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance (eligible for CI Poly)
  • Master's degree
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience

Required one of the following certifications:

  • CASP+ CE
  • CCNP Security
  • CISA
  • CISSP (or Associate)
  • GCED
  • GCIH OR
  • CCSP

AND one of the following certifications:

  • CEH
  • CySA+
  • CISA
  • GSNA
  • CFR OR
  • PenTest
